Mr. Morwood holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Sociology from the University of Western Ontario. Over the years, he has continued to upgrade his education with courses in participative training techniques, negotiation skills and mediation. For 17 years starting in 1980, Mr. Morwood worked with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture in a senior marketing position. In 2000, Mr. Morwood became the Executive Director of the Ontario Ground Water Association. After leaving OGWA in 2011 Mr. Morwood was the executive director of the Ontario Geothermal Association. He is also owner and operator of a hay and cash crop farming operation. In addition to these careers, Mr. Morwood is president of AGMED Consulting Services which provides mediation and negotiation services for agricultural and rural issues. Mr. Morwood participates in a number of organizations including the London Area Mediators Association; Lambton Federation of Agriculture (past president); Ontario Federation of Agriculture; Lambton County Nutrient Management Committee (founding member); and the Implementation Committee for Source Protection Bill 43.
