Mike is in his 15th year of working in the water and wastewater industry. He graduated from Western University in 1997 with a BSC in Environmental Science and Biology. Mike began his career as a water and wastewater treatment operator, starting his career with the District of Muskoka in 2002 and joining the Region of Waterloo in 2006. Mike took on the role of Water Quality Specialist at the Region of Waterloo in 2007, and most recently was the Manager of Water Operations at the City of Waterloo until May of 2015. Mike became Manager of Environmental Services at the City of Stratford in May of 2015 and has been on the Walkerton Clean Water Center Training Advisory Committee since 2012.
Mike grew up near Port Carling, Ontario and has lived in Stratford for the past 10 years, with his wife Holly and two daughters, 12 and 8 Madeline and Lila.
