Jarrod Craven is currently the Director of Public Works for the Municipality of Thames Centre and resides in Middlesex County. He represents the municipalities within Middlesex County including the city of London on the Source Protection Committee. Jarrod attained both his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts degrees at the University of Windsor.
Growing up on the family beef and cash crop farm as well as working as a technician at a Water Well Service business while attending university taught him the importance of clean safe drinking water and the maintenance involved in achieving this.
In 2001 this background and interest lead him to move into the role of Environmental Services Superintendent at Thames Centre. This position involved overseeing the operations of a municipal landfill site, three municipal wastewater treatment plants and collection systems as well as obtaining MECP licenses to both oversee and operate the treatment and distribution of two large municipal drinking water systems, both supplied by groundwater sources.
In 2020 he accepted the role of Director of Public Works at Thames Centre which includes the management of the Transportation, Environmental Services, and Drainage departments.
